Has a painful sore suddenly appeared on your tongue? If so, it’s most likely caused by a virus.

Rinse your mouth thoroughly with hydrogen peroxide then expectorate the hydrogen peroxide which should not be swallowed. This will help ease the pain and irritation. Repeat if necessary.

Increase your intake of L-lysine and Vitamin C to help prevent this from occurring again.

The sore will disappear in a few days.

An added benefit of hydrogen peroxide is it whitens teeth.
