I’m American

I wear red, white and blue

I’m American

I see that you are, too,

From this country

There’s a pride upon your face

And that’s something that time can’t erase.

Look around you at our glorious homeland

And be grateful

That united we still stand

For our freedom

We live here in this place

And that’s something that time can’t erase.

American spirit is all around us everywhere

Flags are waving

With a feeling in the air

We love our country

There’s a pride upon your face

And that’s something that time can’t erase.

Let’s pull together

And keep America strong

For our children

To grow where they belong

For our fathers

Who brought us to this place

And that’s something that time can’t erase.

The above patriotic song, written with great love in my heart for our country, has been played in Fourth of July parades and at various civic functions. The words and music are especially appropriate for holidays and celebrations such as Veterans’ Day, Flag Day and many other occasions. If interested in purchasing a copy of this patriotic song or my song entitled “Endeavour’s Noble Crew” honoring America’s astronauts and the Spaceship Endeavour, please go to Amazon.com. May God bless America.
