Females participating in sports tend to dislike their hair cut too short, so they pull their long hair tightly back from the scalp into ponytails fastened with tight rubber bands. Sometimes parents have the habit of doing this to their children, too, on a daily basis.

Over time, hair, especially at the forehead, will recede after being severely pulled away from the face and tied with a tight rubber band until it is very obvious that damage has already been done.

Hair grooming methods such as cornrowing can cause loss of hair, too, and, unfortunately, it may never grow back.

Some health nuts (health proponents) say it is healthier to periodically quit eating until your body signals that it actually is hungry rather than constantly stuff it with food whether hungry or not.

Eating all the time is not only unnecessary, but unhealthy. Give your digestive system a chance to rest. Like other animals on this earth, humans do not need to constantly eat in order to survive..

Men who continually shave the hair off their heads may experience the surprise of their lives if and when they decide to stop shaving their heads only to find their hair won’t grow back at all or won’t grow back as fully as it was before.

This dilemma can possibly be due to damaged hair follicles from repeated shaving.

Be Patriotic! Buy “Made In America” And Buy “Grown In America”

Buying “Made in America” products is extremely important to our economy, but buying “Grown in America” is even more important for your health!

Decades ago, in order to protect the health and welfare of all Americans, the United States government banned the spraying of carcinogenic pesticides and fertilizers on all crops grown throughout the United States.

Elsewhere around the world, however, restrictions, regulations and controls of pesticides and fertilizers are either nonexistent or are nowhere near as strict as they are here in this country. Therefore, carcinogenic chemical fertilizers, dangerous pesticides and even human feces is still regularly being used to grow fruits and vegetables, exposing everyone consuming them to a multitude of hazardous chemicals and potential diseases. Incidentally, one thing that should be noted here is the important fact that toxins that animals ingest and toxins that plants absorb can be transferred to humans.

Since one never knows what kind of sudden serious allergic medical emergency or long lasting disease such as hepatitis may develop from ingesting dangerous pesticides and human excrement, it is safer to make it a habit of avoiding foods imported from backward thinking third-world countries whose primitive customs, which have been practiced for generations, are still in use to this very day. Furthermore, are their processing plants sanitary and free of insects?

The bottom line is: With our vast lands, we in America have every type of climate known to man. Our rich, arable soil is capable of growing everything we need. With our world-class expertise and incomparable high standards, there is no need to rely on other countries to provide our food.

Cosmetic Counter Risks

They’re there–spread out all over the counters for any and every one to freely use, but my advice is don’t do it!

I’m specifically referring to cosmetics at cosmetic counters everywhere where shoppers can sample or test various products.

Cosmetic counter lipsticks, skin creams, eye preparations and various other products are fun for females to look at and try, but these products happen to be some of the worst bacteria laden items a person could ever come into contact with.

Giving no thought to contagious diseases, teenagers are especially prone to experimenting with testers, eagerly using readily available samples by sticking their unwashed fingers into open jars, smearing previously used lipsticks on their mouths and applying sample eye shadows and eye liner, testing assorted shades and colors. Whether they know it or not, what they are doing is almost as bad as playing Russian roulette, for when it comes to exposing themselves to diseases, they are seriously jeopardizing their health.

All it takes is for one person, infected with highly contagious herpes of the eye, to sample an eye product by applying it to one or both of her eyes, and that product is permanently contaminated with the herpes virus which can cause irreversible blindness if untreated with prescription medication. Once infected with that miserable affliction, there is no cure, and that person will have to apply very expensive eye drops to her eyes for the rest of her life. She also will have to be extra diligent that she does not contaminate things like other family member’s towels or allow them use hers, or they most certainly will be exposed to the same disease.

Unfortunately many ill people have no regard for those who are healthy, so they have no qualms spreading disease.

Taking a chance using free products at cosmetic counters is not worth having to live with the consequences.

Avoiding Ingesting Harmful Chemicals

Everyone wants to conserve precious water and protect the environment, but be sure to rinse hand-washed dishes and utensils thoroughly, otherwise you could ingest harmful chemical additives prevalent in various dish liquids. Doubtful? Read the labels and educate yourself as to all that they contain.

Other chemical additives, which some people prefer to use in the final rinse cycle of their dishwashers, designed to make glassware sparkle, is questionable as chemical residue remains then dries on entire dishwasher loads. The fewer chemicals you expose yourself to on a daily basis, the better your health.
